Job summary

Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen invites applications for a four-year PhD position embedded in the PROMETHEUS project, PROstate cancer Multimodal Explainable Transferable Holistic Expert for Universal Stratification. The project aims to develop an AI super-agent integrating MRI, PSMA PET/CT, histopathology and EHR to support clinical decision-making in prostate cancer management.

• MSc or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and PyTorch.
• Interest in clinically-grounded oncology research.

Responsibilities

• Publish research results leading to a PhD thesis.
• Contribute to methodological AI research within MAGIC and DIAG.
• Collaborate across the PROMETHEUS project with imaging and clinical data.
