Job summary

UpcoMinds is seeking a Penetration Tester to work on NATO projects in The Hague. You will lead and/or join Red/Blue team exercises, perform testing across web, infrastructure, and applications, and provide security design reviews to align with NATO directives.

You will also advise on security plans, build strong stakeholder communications, and deliver clear technical reports for varied audiences, including executive briefings at high levels.

Qualifications

• Assess security vulnerabilities within OS, software, protocols and networks.
• Knowledge of UNIX and Windows system administration.
• Proficient in penetration testing tools and methodologies.
• Ability to write clear, structured technical reports for different audiences.
• Active NATO SECRET security clearance.

• Provide security design reviews to ensure compliance with NATO policies and directives
• Provide security consultancy and advice to projects, plans, and other entities

Requirements:

• Assessing security vulnerabilities within OS, software, protocols & networks
• Researching and evaluating security products & technologies
• Knowledge in system and network administration of UNIX and Windows systems;
• Use of penetration testing tools, techniques, and recognized testing methodologies;
• Scripting skills in at least one of the following: Perl, Python, Ruby, shell (bash, ksh, csh);
• Technical knowledge in system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, application security, as well as, malware infection techniques and protection technologies.
• Ability to evaluate risks and formulate mitigation plans;
• Proven ability to write clear and structured technical reports including executive summary, technical findings and remediation Skill, Knowledge & Experience: plan for several different audiences
• Active NATO SECRET security clearance.
