Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. is seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist to lead our payroll transformation, bridging IT, HR, and finance to design and deliver robust payroll solutions for a global, multi-entity organisation.

Apply with at least 8 years in payroll, deep knowledge of Workday or similar systems, and a service-oriented mindset; you will mentor teams, monitor KPIs, and ensure data integrity while standardising processes across Hire to Retire.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of payroll or payroll-related experience.
  • Experience with HR & financial systems, e.g., Workday.
  • Proven success leading payroll implementations in global multi-entity orgs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as SME in payroll, connecting digital HR/finance processes across teams.
  • Advise stakeholders on payroll processes, tools, and data.
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement in Payroll.
  • Collaborate with HR IT and payroll partners to deliver payroll solutions.
  • Monitor KPIs and manage payroll architecture changes.
  • Support global Hire to Retire transformation projects.

Job Title Payroll Implemention Specialist Job Description At Vanderlande Industries, we are taking transformational steps in our financial function and are looking for deep subject matter experts in Payroll processes, technology, and data to lead us into the future. Are you experienced in payroll processes, applications and implementations? Do you enjoy improving processes and having a service-oriented mindset with a solid grasp of HR & finance? Perhaps you have extensive experience in payroll auditing and want to apply your reporting and accounting expertise and lead the way? What You Will Do

As a subject matter expert, you will be the key player in our transformation and improvement programs. You will support us in connecting the dots between the digital world and core finance & HR processes. This will require a thorough understanding of payroll, business processes, best practices, the latest developments, and benefits new tools can bring to VI. Next to business-oriented consulting skills, strong communication skills are essential, enabling us to put the plan into action together with our Global teams. You are a team player and, at the same time, able to deliver independently. Having strong analytical skills and a proactive ‘can-do’ mentality. Responsibilities
  • Process Focus: Advisor to a broad range of Stakeholders both in and outside finance.
  • Process Improvement: Drive standardization and initiate improvements within Payroll, using end-to-end expertise to enhance processes and tools.
  • Cross-Functional Guidance: Provide expertise on payroll process and offer guidance within Hire to Retire scope.
  • KPI Management: Monitor and drive performance based on defined KPIs.
  • Technology Focus: HR & Finance Architecture: Contribute to developing and managing HR & finance architecture, including processes, systems, and data (-products), to align with business goals.
  • Payroll Implementation: Collaborate with (HR) IT and payroll partner to deliver technically sound, sustainable payroll solutions.
  • Change & Risk Management: Stay updated on new technological developments, manage architecture changes, and advise on priorities and risks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and evaluate opportunities for process automation.
  • General Global Alignment: Collaborate with global teams on Hire to Retire transformation projects.
Education

Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (MBA or relevant certifications preferred);

Experience

At least 8 years of working experience in payroll or strongly related to payroll; Experience with HR & financial systems and processes, especially with modern HRM & Payroll solutions (e.g., Workday); Proven success in leading or participating in payroll implementations, ideally in a global, multi-entity organization; Experienced with analyzing and reporting data;

What we offer

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 6.500 to € 7.600 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). We offer a position in an informal, international and professional working environment with a lot of scope for personal development.
