Job summary

Jobster in Amsterdam zoekt een ervaren schilder voor superjachten. Je draagt bij aan het interieur en exterieur met hoogwaardige lak- en spuitsystemen en zorgt voor behoud van hout en metaal. Je levert vakwerk af met aandacht voor details en kwaliteit.

Je werkt in een moderne werkomgeving met Foremen, Planners en QC/QA-leden, combineert zelfstandig werk met teamwork en houdt rekening met veiligheid en orde aan boord.

Qualifications

• MBO niveau 3 of 4 in schilderen / spuitwerk
• Ervaring met hoogwaardige filler en spuitwerk
• Kennis van verschillende verfsoorten en systemen
• Oog voor detail
• Flexibel in werktijden
• Teamspeler

Responsibilities

• Toepassen van je vakwerk volgens Feadship-standaarden
• Spuiten, primen, vullen, vernissen en aflakken van toegewezen oppervlakken op de boot
• Zelfstandig werken binnen het team en waar nodig assisteren
• Veiligheid, netheid en naleving van gezondheids- en veiligheidsvoorschriften

In an ultra-modern dry dock and well-equipped workshops, we have the space to work on yachts up to 160 meters — both new builds and refits. With a mix of experience and innovative knowledge, we build the most beautiful and largest yachts here.

The Yacht Painters department ensures that the interior and exterior of the superyachts are finished with a high-quality paint system and a flawless topcoat. The department consists of Foremen, Work Planners, QC/QA staff, and skilled specialists.

As a Superyacht Painter, you’ll deliver top-quality work. Your responsibilities include:

• Applying smooth layers of filler and spray work that meet the specific Feadship standards and quality requirements.
• Spraying, priming, filling, staining, lacquering, and topcoating designated areas onboard and/or assigned (loose) components and furniture of the superyacht.
• Working independently while being part of a team, always ensuring the quality of your work.
• Maintaining order, cleanliness, health & safety standards, and taking action when necessary.

Dit breng je mee

• MBO level 3 or 4 (Intermediate vocational education) in a relevant field such as painting, industrial finishing, coatings specialist, or similar.
• Relevant knowledge and hands-on experience with high-quality filler and spray work.
• Experience with various paint types, techniques, and systems.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Flexibility to complete tasks within regular working hours.
• A true team player.
