Job summary

Royal Van Lent Shipyard in Amsterdam zoekt een vakbekwame schilder voor superjachten. Je werkt aan binnen- en buitenafwerking en levert hoogwaardige lak- en oppervlaktebehandelingen op maat van de jachten.

Je werkt nauw samen met foremen en planners, houdt rekening met Feadship-standaarden, en profiteert van een marktconform salaris, uitgebreide verlofregeling en uitstekende secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden.

Qualifications

• MBO niveau 3 of 4 in een relevante richting zoals schilderen, industriële afwerking of coatings.
• Ervaring met hoogwaardige vul- en spuitwerkzaamheden.
• Ervaring met verschillende verfsoorten, technieken en systemen.
• Oog voor detail en teamspeler met flexibiliteit.

Responsibilities

• Toepassen van gladde lagen vulmiddel en spuitwerk volgens Feadship-standaarden.
• Spuiten, primers aanbrengen, vullen, beitsen, lakken en afwerken op diverse delen van de superjacht.
• Zich zelfstandig kunnen bewegen binnen het team en streven naar hoge kwaliteit.
• Orde, netheid en naleving van gezondheids- en veiligheidsnormen bewaren.

As a Painter Superyachts you play a crucial role in our Amsterdam facility. Thanks to your work, the yacht looks stunning inside and out.

In an modern dry dock built in 2019 and well-equipped workshops, we have the space to work on yachts up to 160 meters — both new builds and refits. With a mix of experience and innovative knowledge, we build the most beautiful and largest yachts here.

As a yacht painter, you play a crucial role. Thanks to your work, the yacht looks stunning inside and out, and your craftsmanship ensures proper wood and metal preservation. Are you the one who can apply that perfect coat of paint?

The Yacht Painters department ensures that the interior and exterior of the superyachts are finished with a high-quality paint system and a flawless topcoat. The department consists of Foremen, Work Planners, QC/QA staff, and specialists.

As a Superyacht Painter, you’ll deliver top-quality work. Your responsibilities include:

• Applying smooth layers of filler and spray work that meet the specific Feadship standards and quality requirements.
• Spraying, priming, filling, staining, lacquering, and topcoating designated areas onboard and/or assigned (loose) components and furniture of the superyacht.
• Working independently while being part of a team, always ensuring the quality of your work.
• Maintaining order, cleanliness, health & safety standards, and taking action when necessary.

Dit breng je mee

• MBO level 3 or 4 (Intermediate vocational education) in a relevant field such as painting, industrial finishing, coatings specialist, or similar.
• Relevant knowledge and hands‑on experience with high-quality filler and spray work.
• Experience with various paint types, techniques, and systems.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Flexibility to complete tasks within regular working hours.
• A true team player.

• Salary: Between € 2.800,- and € 4.500,- per month.
