Job summary

Amoria Bond is seeking an experienced Team Lead OT to lead an Operational Technology team in a large industrial organization. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with team leadership to keep critical OT systems stable, secure and future-proof while shaping the OT strategy.

You will oversee OT engineers, manage projects, incidents and budgets, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. The role requires 8+ years in OT and fluency in Dutch.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in industrial automation and OT
• Proven leadership or management experience
• Fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems

• Own complex technical issues, design decisions and critical incidents.

• Contribute to development and implementation of the OT strategy.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation when required.

• Lead and develop a team of OT Engineers, ensuring performance and job satisfaction.
• Oversee the stability, security and reliability of OT systems across the organization.
• Provide technical direction on PLC, SCADA, infrastructure and automation projects.
• Take ownership of complex technical issues, design decisions and critical incidents.
• Manage daily team operations, processes and budgets.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the wider OT strategy.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation when required.

Skills

• 8+ years of experience in industrial automation and Operational Technology (OT).
• Previous experience in a technical leadership or management position.
• Completed higher professional education (HBO) in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Technical Informatics or similar.
• Strong knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.
• Understanding of industrial infrastructure, including servers, networking, workstations, databases and MES.
• Experience in production‑critical environments where continuity, safety and reliability are essential.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Pragmatic, decisive and able to maintain oversight in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in Dutch (mandatory).
