Job summary

Royal FloraHolland in Naaldwijk zoekt een gedreven orderpicker voor ochtendwerk. Je werkt met een elektrisch karretje en bereidt orders voor levering aan kopers. De shift start om 06:00 uur en vereist een flexibele, parttime inzet op max 4 ochtenddagen per week.

Je werkt in een dynamische logistieke omgeving en ontvangt een uurloon van €16,60 bruto. Een reiskostenvergoeding en vakantiegeld behoren tot de arbeidsvoorwaarden; minimaal 7 maanden beschikbaarheid is vereist.

Qualifications

• Geen specifieke opleiding vereist; alles wordt aangeleerd.
• Fysieke fitheid en het vermogen om buckets met bloemen te tillen.
• In staat om op tijd bij Naaldwijk te komen (06:00).
• Minimaal 16 jaar oud en beschikbaar vanaf 2 doordeweekse ochtenden.

Responsibilities

• Ochtendwerk beginnen om 06:00, lege kar vullen met orders.
• Ontvangen briefjes op de kar waar de bloemen/potten vandaan komen.
• Met de elektrische kar naar de locaties rijden en bloemen verplaatsen.
• Volledig gevulde kar klaarzetten voor verzending.
• Andere taken zoals het klaarzetten van lege karretjes.

Jouw uitdaging

The flower auction starts at 06:00 a.m. As orderpicker, you work alongside 150 other colleagues to process all orders from our buyers. Together with your team, you ensure that everything is ready as quickly as possible so it can be delivered to the buyer. Your work consists of the following tasks:

• Your shift starts at 06:00 a.m., after which you pick up an empty cart. This cart needs to be filled with one of our customers’ orders;

• The receipts on the cart will show you where to pick up the ordered flowers or plants;

• Using your small, electric truck (no license required), you drive to the specified location;

• You move the ordered flowers or plants onto your cart. Once full, this cart is ready for further shipment;

• Various other tasks (such as preparing empty carts or taking away full ones).

Jouw profiel

During your workday, you are constantly on the move with your electric truck, lifting flowers onto different carts. To meet our commitments, we start work at 06:00 a.m. so orders can be delivered on time. No specific training or work experience is required; we’ll teach you everything you need to know about this job! We ask the following from you:

• You’re physically fit and have no trouble lifting buckets with flowers or potted plants;

• You’re able to reach our logistic center in Naaldwijk by 06:00 a.m.;

• You’re at least 1,65m (5’5”ft) tall, so you can reach even the top shelves;

• You're available on at least 2 weekday mornings, including the Monday;

• You're available to work for at least 7 months;

• You’re at least 16 years old;

• You speak English or Dutch at conversational level or higher;

• You live in the Netherlands and have the necessary documentation that allows you to work here (we can't provide work permit/TWV).

Ons aanbod

• A flexible, part-time job in the mornings: the afternoon is yours!;

• A fun morning job on up to 4 weekday mornings (Thursdays currently unavailable);

• A flexible, on-call contract or a contract with fixed number of hours per week (7-15 uur);

• A hourly wage of €16,60 bruto;

• A working day of 3,8 hours on average (4 workdays average 15 hours per week);

• Travel compensation of €0,23 as well as a vacation bonus;

• A plant to take home 5 times a year.
