Job summary

Sligro in the Netherlands is hiring order pickers to join our logistics team. Responsibilities include picking, staking, and labeling food products, and performing order picking with a hand scanner. You may drive the EPT with five containers and relocate to freezer tasks when required.

Job description

Sligro is a prominent player in the Netherlands, operating a national network of self-service wholesalers and delivery centers. They cater to various sectors, including large and small-scale catering, recreation, company restaurants, gas stations, and more.Sligro is looking for order pickers to join their team in the Netherlands!

In this position, your duties will include the following:

• Picking, staking, and stickering food products
• Order picking with a hand scanner
• Driving the EPT with 5 containers

If needed, you may be assigned other logistics tasks and relocated to work in the freezer for some time. In the freezer, employees have 15-minute pauses in each hour they work.

This is a long-term job opportunity. You will work from Monday to Friday; overtime hours are possible on request. The company will provide you with working clothes. In this position, it's mandatory to wear safety shoes with a steel toe. Employees have the option to use their own safety shoes or purchase them from the agency.

Requirements:

• CV in English is mandatory to apply for this position
• Order picker experience is mandatory
• Experience working with an EPT is mandatory
• EPT certificate is preferred

Allowances:

• - For working from 19:00 to 22:00: +25%
• -For working from 22:00 to 5:00: +50%
• -On Saturday:
• - For working from 00:00 to 12:00: +50%
• - For working from 12:00 to 00:00: +100%
• -On Sunday:
• - For working from 00:00 to 04:00: +100%
• -FREEZER allowance Veghel (-18/-28 degrees C) surplus: +1.11 cent freezer bonus on every hour worked, above the normal hourly wage.

Minimum B1 level of English.
