Job summary

GEODIS in Horst zoekt een gemotiveerde magazijnmedewerker om samen met collega’s goederen veilig en efficiënt door het magazijn te laten bewegen. Je pikt orders met een EPT en scanner, en bestuurt een heftruck voor het verplaatsen van goederen.

De functie vereist 1–2 jaar logistieke ervaring, fysieke belastbaarheid en spreekbasis Engels. De werktijden zijn roterend over dagdiensten. Er is een tijdelijk contract met uitzicht op vast dienstverband en parkeergelegenheid ter plaatse.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 1–2 jaar logistieke ervaring.
• Ervaring met order picking en EPT.
• Fysiek fit en in staat om veiligheidsvoorschriften na te leven.
• Engels spreken en begrijpen.

Responsibilities

• Picken van orders met EPT en scanner.
• Bedienen van een heftruck voor het verplaatsen van goederen.
• Controleren van orders op volledigheid en nauwkeurigheid.
• Voorbereiden van producten voor verzending.
• Verpakken en afhandelen van uitgaande zendingen.
• Zorgdragen voor een veilige en georganiseerde magazijnruimte.

Together with your colleagues, you make sure products move through the warehouse safely and efficiently.

• Pick orders accurately using an EPT and scanner
• Operate a forklift to move and place goods
• Check orders for quantity and accuracy
• Prepare products for shipment
• Pack and process outgoing orders
• Keep the warehouse organised and safe

• €14.99 to €16.20 gross per hour, depending on your experience
• 32–40 hours per week
• Rotating daytime shifts: one week from 07:00 to 16:00 and the following week from 09:00 to 18:00
• 8% holiday allowance
• Travel allowance from 10 km, up to €11.50 per day

Functie-eisen

We are looking for someone who enjoys physical work and already knows their way around a warehouse.

• Have at least 1–2 years of logistics experience
• Have experience with order picking and EPT
• Are physically fit
• Speak and understand English
• Are available to work rotating day shifts: one week from 07:00 to 16:00 and the following week from 09:00 to 18:00
• Have your own transportation to the warehouse in Horst
• Are willing to apply for a VOG

Forklift experience and/or a valid forklift certificate is a big plus. Candidates with forklift experience can be deployed approximately 50% on the forklift and 50% in order picking.
