Job summary

Start People in Horst, Netherlands, is looking for a logistics assistant to support our warehouse operations with order picking and forklift handling.

You will work rotating day shifts, operate an EPT and scanner, check orders, prepare shipments, and keep the warehouse safe and organized. English skills and reliable transportation are required. Forklift experience or certification is a big plus, with potential for 50/50 forklift and picking duties.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of logistics experience.
• Experience with order picking and EPT.
• Physically fit.
• Speak and understand English.
• Available to work rotating day shifts: 07:00–16:00 and 09:00–18:00.
• Have transportation to the Horst warehouse.
• Willing to apply for a VOG.

Together with your colleagues, you make sure products move through the warehouse safely and efficiently.

You will:

• Pick orders accurately using an EPT and scanner
• Operate a forklift to move and place goods
• Check orders for quantity and accuracy
• Prepare products for shipment
• Pack and process outgoing orders
• Keep the warehouse organised and safe

The combination of order picking and forklift work keeps your working day active and varied. We are looking for someone who enjoys physical work and already knows their way around a warehouse.

You:

• Have at least 1–2 years of logistics experience
• Have experience with order picking and EPT
• Are physically fit
• Speak and understand English
• Are available to work rotating day shifts: one week from 07:00 to 16:00 and the following week from 09:00 to 18:00
• Have your own transportation to the warehouse in Horst
• Are willing to apply for a VOG

Forklift experience and/or a valid forklift certificate is a big plus. Candidates with forklift experience can be deployed approximately 50% on the forklift and 50% in order picking.
