Job Overview

As an opticien at Pearle you are the specialist for eye measurements and optical advice. You use the latest measuring equipment, expand your knowledge, and help customers find the best vision solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye measurements and determine the correct prescription.
• Advise customers on lenses, including Transitions, and frame fitting.
• Work with the latest optical technologies such as the Eye‑Ruler 2 on iPad.
• Co‑operate with and guide sales associates and trainee opticians.

Qualifications

• MBO 4 diploma in Optics.
• Work experience in the eyewear sector.
• Customer‑centred and sales‑oriented mindset.
• Fluency in Dutch, both written and spoken.

• Base salary from €2,700 to €4,051 per month (38 hours) incl. holiday pay.

The first 16 weeks you work together with a buddy to learn about frames, lenses, sales and Pearle’s culture. You can further your career through training at the Dutch Health Tech Academy, acquire a contact lens specialist diploma within two years, or develop leadership skills for a business‑leader role or franchise ownership.
