Job summary

Outly Amsterdam - The Style Outlets zoekt een gemotiveerde Junior / Student Optician (BBL) om ons team te versterken. Je leert basisoptische metingen, paswerk, monturen advies en verkoop in een dynamische detailhandel.

Je werkt aan klantenadvies, achterstallige voorraad en visuele merchandising, streeft naar verkoopdoelen en krijgt hands-on coaching en doorgroeimogelijkheden. Werktijden op locatie, inclusief af en toe in het weekend en 2 zondagen per maand.

Qualifications

• Momenteel studeren aan Optiek/Optometrie of net afgestudeerde.
• Klantgerichte, proactieve houding en passie voor eyewear.
• Flexibel werken in weekenden, 2 zondagen per maand en tijdens promoties.

Responsibilities

• Assisteren bij basis optische metingen, paswerk, montuur aanpassingen en reparaties.
• Adviezen geven over monturen, lenzen en optische producten.
• Ondersteunen van dagelijkse winkeloperaties, voorraadbeheer en visual merchandising.
• Zich richten op verkoopdoelstellingen en bijdragen aan een positief teamklimaat.

Contract: Full-Time / BBL basis

Start Date: 1 October 2026

We are looking for a motivated Junior / Student Optician (BBL) to join our team at Outly Amsterdam - The Style Outlets. This is a great opportunity to develop your customer service, sales, and technical optical skills in a dynamic retail environment.

Your responsibilities

• Assist with basic optical measurements, fitting, frame adjustments and repairs
• Advise customers on frames, lenses and optical products
• Support daily store operations, inventory management and visual merchandising
• Work towards sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment

What we are looking for

• Currently studying Optics/Optometry (BBL) or a recent optical graduate
• Customer-focused, proactive and passionate about eyewear
• Flexible to work weekends, including 2 Sundays per month, and during promotional periods
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Gross monthly salary (38h/week):

Salary depends on age, education level and relevant experience.
