Job summary

Air Products is hiring a HyCO4 Operator at our Rotterdam site. You will operate hydrogen and CO2 capture facilities, perform inspections, support startups and stops, and collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires a technical MBO-4 qualification, experience in process industries, and fluency in Dutch and English. A strong safety mindset and willingness to work in rotating shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to work in a continuous shift system.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Onze HyCO4-locatie in Rotterdam is een van de grootste waterstofproductiefaciliteiten van Nederland en wordt momenteel uitgebouwd met een innovatieve Carbon Capture-installatie, die een belangrijke rol zal spelen in het verminderen van industriële emissies. Dit is een unieke kans om deel uit te maken van een groeiend team en mee te werken aan de ingebruikname van deze nieuwe installatie. Je ontwikkelt jezelf tot een volledig gekwalificeerde HyCO4 Operator en werkt met zowel bestaande waterstofprocessen als de nieuwste CO₂-afvangtechnologieën.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Operator HyCO4 draag je bij aan een veilige en betrouwbare operatie van onze waterstof- en CO₂-afvanginstallaties. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

• Uitvoeren van inspecties en monitoren van installaties.
• Ondersteunen bij opstarts, stops en storingen.
• Meewerken aan commissioning-, onderhouds- en projectactiviteiten.
• Samenwerken met operators, engineers en projectteams.
• Actief bijdragen aan veiligheid, operational excellence en continue verbetering.

Wat breng je mee?

• Een technische MBO-4 opleiding of vergelijkbare technische achtergrond.
• Ervaring in de procesindustrie, chemie, energie- of raffinagesector.
• Sterk veiligheidsbewustzijn en een teamgerichte instelling.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels.
• Bereidheid om in een volcontinu ploegensysteem te werken.
• Leergierigheid en interesse in complexe procesinstallaties.
• SAP-ervaring is een pré.
