Job summary

Rain for Rent International is seeking an Operations Manager to strengthen the Roosendaal site. You will coordinate and optimize day-to-day operations, ensure equipment readiness, and drive efficiency with the Team Lead Operations, sales, and technical teams across Europe.

You will oversee dispatches, equipment maintenance, and documentation while leading continuous improvement and KPI-driven activities to enhance service quality and reliability.

Qualifications

Several years of experience in operations, industrial services, equipment rental, logistics or a comparable technical environment.
Strong technical understanding of industrial equipment, ideally pumps, tanks, filtration systems or fluid management solutions.
Experience in operational planning, equipment coordination, maintenance or fleet management.
Good understanding of workshop, yard and logistics processes.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements.
Experience working with operational KPIs and ERP systems.
Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working approach.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively across different departments.
Fluent Dutch and good working proficiency in English.
Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operational activities at the Roosendaal location.
Ensure efficient planning and execution of equipment preparation, dispatching, deliveries and returns.
Coordinate operational priorities and ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
Monitor ongoing activities and proactively address operational bottlenecks.
Ensure smooth coordination between workshop, yard, logistics and field service activities.
Monitor equipment availability, utilization and operational readiness.
Coordinate maintenance, inspections, repairs and servicing of rental equipment.
Ensure equipment is prepared, tested and ready for customer deployment.
Maintain accurate equipment records and ensure proper documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment utilization, reliability and lifecycle management.
Ensure operational processes are consistently applied and executed.
Identify inefficiencies and develop practical solutions to improve workflows.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational activities.
Support the implementation and standardization of operational procedures.
Ensure accurate use of operational systems and documentation.
Work closely with the Team Lead Operations to ensure operational priorities are achieved.
Coordinate with Sales to ensure customer requirements and delivery schedules are met.
Collaborate with technical teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
Support communication between operations, logistics, workshop and administration.
Act as a central coordination point for operational matters at the location.
Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety and environmental requirements.
Promote safe working practices throughout all operational activities.
Ensure equipment handling, storage, inspections and maintenance comply with internal procedures and applicable regulations.
Report safety concerns and support the implementation of corrective actions.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for an Operations Manager to strengthen our operations team at our Roosendaal location.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing operational activities, ensuring equipment readiness, efficient resource utilization and reliable service delivery. Working closely with the Team Lead Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

Your Responsibilities

Operational Coordination
