Job summary

Jet Aviation, Amsterdam Schiphol, is seeking an Operational & Guest Services Agent to ensure smooth flight operations and a premium guest experience on-site. The role combines passenger handling, lounge service, and coordination with ground teams at a high-end, fast-paced environment.

You will manage requests like catering, transport, and hotel bookings, while liaising with customs and airport partners. The position requires shift work and punctual travel to Schiphol East.

Qualifications

• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Experience in operational ground handling or hospitality in a high-end environment is a strong plus.
• Willingness to work in shifts (early, day, late, weekend and holidays).
• Representational, service-oriented, stress-resistant and communicative.
• Must be able to be within 45 minutes of Schiphol-East.
• MBO level of education.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and guide passengers and crew (VIPs, government officials, royalty).
• Ensure a hospitable lounge experience with comfort, service and exclusivity.
• Align with special requests such as catering, transport, hotel reservations and crew services.
• Coordinate flight and ground handling, including radio contact with aircraft via VHF.
• Collect and verify current flight information (METAR/NOTAMs/flight plans).
• Assign parking positions and guide aircraft during arrival and departure.
• Direct suppliers and ground services (fuel, provisioning, cleaning, transport).
• First point of contact for customs, Marechaussee and airport partners.
• Proactively resolve last-minute changes and challenges.

Als Operational & Guest Services Agent ben jij de schakel tussen de flight operations op het platform en de hospitalityervaring in de lounge. Je zorgt dat elke vlucht soepel verloopt en dat onze gasten een onvergetelijke, vlekkeloze ervaring hebben.

Wat ga je doen?

Hospitality & Guest Care

• Ontvangen en begeleiden van passagiers en bemanningen (VIP's, regeringsfunctionarissen, Koninklijke Hoogheden, captains of industry)
• Zorgdragen voor een gastvrije ervaring in de lounge, met aandacht voor comfort, service en exclusiviteit
• Afstemmen van speciale wensen zoals catering, transport, hotelreserveringen en crew services

Operations & Flight Support

• Cordineren van de vlucht- en grondafhandeling, inclusief radiocontact met toestellen via VHF
• Verzamelen en controleren van actuele vluchtinformatie (Meteo, NOTAMs, flight plans)
• Toewijzen van parkeerposities en begeleiden van toestellen bij binnenkomst en vertrek
• Aansturen van leveranciers en ground services (brandstof, bevoorrading, cleaning, transport)
• Eerste aanspreekpunt voor Douane, Marechaussee en luchthavenpartners
• Proactief oplossen van last-minute wijzigingen en uitdagingen

Wat neem jij mee?

• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal;
• Werkervaring in operationele grondafhandeling of hospitality in een high-end omgeving is een sterke pre;
• Bereidheid om in ploegendiensten te werken (vroeg, dag, laat, weekend en feestdagen);
• Representatief, servicegericht, stressbestendig en communicatief vaardig;
• In staat om binnen 45 minuten op Schiphol-Oost te zijn;
• MBO werk- en denkniveau.
