Job summary

Apotheek Schinkel, part of the OCTA Farmacie Group, seeks an experienced pharmacy assistant. You’ll be the welcoming face, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care while handling prescription processing and patient queries.

You bring a completed MBO pharmacy assistant qualification, meticulousness, and teamwork. CGM prescriptions are a plus; 24–36 hours per week are available with CAO-based salary and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• MBO qualification as a pharmacy assistant completed.
• Meticulous and able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience with CGM digital prescriptions is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and check medicines for safety and accuracy.
• Provide information and advice on prescriptions and OTC medicines.
• Participate in projects related to pharmaceutical patient care.
• Process prescriptions in the pharmacy according to protocol.

Your role

You will be working as an (experienced) pharmacy assistant at Schinkel Pharmacy. This is an approachable and caring pharmacy where personal attention is key. You will carry out the duties associated with the role of pharmacy assistant and actively contribute to safe and conscientious pharmaceutical care.

You are the face of the pharmacy and the first point of contact for our patients. With your expertise and friendly approach, you ensure that everyone feels welcome and well looked after.

What will you be doing?

• You will carry out tasks relating to the monitoring and checking of medicines
• You will provide information and advice on prescription and over-the-counter medicines
• You will take part in projects relating to pharmaceutical patient care
• You will be responsible for processing prescriptions within the pharmacy in accordance with protocol

What do you bring to the role?

• A completed MBO qualification as a pharmacy assistant
• You are meticulous, able to work independently and also work well as part of a team
• A sense of humour and a friendly, sociable nature!
• Experience with CGM digital prescriptions is an advantage but not essential
• You are available for 24–36 hours per week
