Job summary

Team EIFFEL seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, and realize mechanical systems on site at client locations. You will guide concepts through realization, using 3D CAD to model machines and industrial systems for on-site deployment.

You have 2+ years of engineering experience, CAD/FEM knowledge, and proficiency in Dutch. You will coordinate with clients and suppliers and support workshop teams to ensure designs function in practice, with clear development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO or WO education in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience as an engineer.
• Knowledge of CAD software and FEM analyses (SolidWorks, Inventor or comparable).
• Excellent command of the Dutch language in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Design, calculate and model machines, devices and industrial systems in 3D CAD.
• Produce detailed 2D drawings, BOMs and documentation from the designs.
• Justify design choices and optimize solutions (e.g. FEM analyses).
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and fellow engineers and act as the technical point of contact when required.
• Support the workshop to ensure the design works correctly in practice.
