Job summary

AMF Bakery Systems is seeking a hands-on R&M and Service Engineer to install, maintain and troubleshoot our bakery equipment on customer sites. You will apply mechanical, electrical, and control expertise to keep machines running smoothly and to improve performance.

Based in the Netherlands, you will join a collaborative team with opportunities for growth, a strong pension plan, travel allowances and a flexible hybrid work model that includes some remote work and plenty of on-site customer

Qualifications

Graduated in mechatronics or equivalent; 1–2 years of industry experience.
Affinity with electrical engineering and control technology.
Operational understanding of variable speed drives, sensors, conveyors and PLCs.
Ability to troubleshoot power transmission parts, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical circuits.
Basic machine shop skills for field changes; cut and drill materials.
Written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

Mechanical and electrical installation/modification of AMF equipment at customer sites.
Carrying out inspections, repair and maintenance of existing equipment.
Provide feedback via visit and inspection reports.
Suggest action points on project lists for technical feedback.
Track time registration and expenses; coordinate with planning; participate in toolbox meetings.
Occasionally resolve customer issues by phone and advise on parts and service.
