Job summary

Van Oord's Offshore Energy unit seeks an experienced Communication Advisor who links the business to the Stakeholders & Sustainability (STS) department, developing communication and stakeholder engagement plans, and advising internal and external audiences.

You will translate societal, political and reputational developments into clear guidance, combine strategic insight with hands-on execution, and collaborate across topics, audiences and channels in an international, project-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Communications or related field.
• Extensive experience as a communication advisor in corporate, business-to-business and/or business-to-government environments.
• Experience in a technical, project-driven or international sector is considered an advantage.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Developing communication and stakeholder engagement plans aligned with Offshore Energy priorities.
• Translating strategic themes into clear and compelling messages for internal and external audiences.
• Managing communication projects from start to finish, including exhibitions, events and external moments.
• Developing content, copy and visual materials that effectively convey the message.
• Coordinating communication activities and aligning project planning through the communication calendar.
