Job summary

Goldman Sachs in The Hague is seeking an OCIO Insurance Associate to join the LPM team. You will work on asset-liability analysis, portfolio construction, and client engagements to deliver investment solutions for insurance clients.

The role requires 3–5 years in multi-asset investing, English fluency, and a commercial mindset; Dutch language is a plus. Collaborate with global teams across The Hague, London and New York.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch is a significant advantage for the local client base.
• 3–5 years of experience in multi-asset investing, investment strategy, or actuarial consulting; client-facing experience is highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks like Solvency II and exposure to fixed income, alternatives, private markets and liability-hedging strategies.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to identify business opportunities and drive client value.

Responsibilities

• Asset-Liability Analysis: perform whole-of-balance-sheet analytics to match assets with insurance liability streams (Life, P&C, Health).
• SAA & Portfolio Construction: develop bespoke Strategic Asset Allocation frameworks accounting for Solvency II constraints and risk parameters.
• Client Engagement: deliver presentations, analytics, market insights and investment reports; participate in client meetings.
• Thought Leadership & Content: collaborate to produce quarterly commentaries and market research.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with teams on responses to RFIs, RFPs and site-visits.
