Job summary

Chromalloy Tilburg, part of a global aerospace engineering group, is seeking a Process Engineer to strengthen manufacturing and repair processes for gas turbine components.

You will develop, optimize, validate, and sustain processes, working with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to improve safety, quality, and throughput.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/industrial engineering degree, strong problem solving, experience with SPC/PFMEA, and English communication; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in process engineering, manufacturing, industrialization or production.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve manufacturing and repair processes from concept through implementation.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, process specifications, work instructions, and validation reports.
• Support production by investigating process deviations, non-conformances, and equipment-related issues.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive process capability improvements through data analysis, SPC, and process validation activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost performance.
• Support automation, digitalization and equipment implementation projects.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) and industrialization activities.
• Support CAPEX projects, equipment commissioning, and supplier collaboration.
