Job summary

Applegreen Group is seeking a Custodian for a full-time role in Amsterdam to maintain clean and welcoming spaces across our outlets. You will perform cleaning tasks, handle waste, and keep lobbies and dining areas orderly while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires physical stamina, flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to interact positively with customers and coworkers. A supportive team and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Uses appropriate cleaning chemicals, tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Cleans toilets, walls, windows, worktables, refrigerators, and other equipment as necessary using appropriate equipment, tools and supplies.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Thoroughly sweeps, mops, scrubs, and buffs floors.
• Maintains a clean and organized lobby and dining area.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck
• Loads and unloads supply trucks.
• Follows all security, sanitation, and safety procedures established by the Company.
• Frequently immerse hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
