Job summary

Bilfinger Belgium & Netherlands seeks an NDT Technician to join its industrial services operations in Hengelo, Overijssel. The technician performs NDT using VT, PT, MT, UT, ToFD/PA, RT, FT, and drone inspections, and reports findings to support asset integrity across energy, chemical, oil & gas, and pharma sectors.

Based in Hengelo, the role emphasizes safety, precision, and adherence to client specs, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• MBO level of working and thinking.
• Multiple Level II NDT certifications (e.g., VT, PT, MT, UT, RT).
• Valid Radiation Safety Certificate (Ci5A / TMS).
• Extensive experience operating as an NDT Technician.
• Strong commitment to safety, precision, and procedure-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct non-destructive testing on materials, structures, and components using VT, PT, MT, UT, ToFD/PA, RT, Film Evaluation (FT), and drone inspection techniques.
• Work strictly according to client specifications, procedures, and industrial quality standards.
• Evaluate, document, and report inspection findings to maintain asset quality and operational safety.
• Operate and maintain NDT inspection equipment in workshops and at client field locations.
• Maintain clear, open communication with clients and site management regarding technical outcomes.

Operating across client facilities and company workshops, the technician executes non-destructive examinations, evaluates material flaws against specifications, and generates technical reports supporting asset integrity in the energy, chemical, oil & gas, and pharmaceutical sectors.
