Damen Naval B.V. in Vlissingen invites graduates and students to join an internship or master project focused on naval vulnerability. You will explore plasticity, material failure in large steel structures, and dynamic buckling, using state-of-the-art tools with support from subject matter experts.

Projects can be tailored, with mentoring at BSc/MSc level. A monthly allowance is provided, and housing assistance is possible if required.

Competenze

• Master level student in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Naval Architecture.
• Experience with structural analysis and ship design principles is valued.
• Familiarity with simulation tools (Ansys, Femap, LS-Dyna) or quick learning ability.

Mansioni

• Plan and execute the research project with supervision from subject matter experts.
• Deliver in-depth analysis and communicate results across departments.
• Take ownership of planning and project management for the assignment.
