Job summary

Jobster in Oudewater seeks an experienced welder to assemble and weld steel and stainless steel components into machine parts. You read technical drawings, prepare materials, and weld with precision.

You will ensure tight tolerances, neat finish, and proper fit, while working in a supportive team and advancing your MIG/TIG skills. Open to candidates with level 2 MIG/TIG certification or those pursuing relevant certificates, including a practical path via BBL.

Qualifications

• MIG/TIG level 2 certification or willingness to obtain certificates.
• Technical mbo education or equivalent vmbo with a practical path.
• Ability to read drawings and understand machine construction.
• Precise, structured work with responsibility for weld quality.

Responsibilities

• Weld structures in steel and stainless steel from parts to machine assemblies.
• Read drawings and prepare materials accordingly.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding with clean finish and accurate dimensions.
• Check own work for proper alignment before progressing.
• Collaborate with colleagues and work independently on assigned tasks.
