Job summary

Booston.io zoekt een operator in de metaalproductie in Nijmegen voor een fulltime functie in een 2-ploegendienst. U werkt met hoogwaardige RVS-buizen en technische componenten in een moderne productieomgeving.

Het uurloon ligt tussen €17,00 en €21,00 bruto, met 16% ploegentoeslag en 8% vakantietoeslag. U bedient productieapparatuur, stelt machines in volgens werkinstructies en bereidt materialen voor op lassen of montage.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in metaalbewerking, machine- of technische productie.
• Ervaring als machine operator is een pré.
• Kennis van lezen van technische tekeningen is een voordeel.

Responsibilities

• Snijden, buigen, polijsten en afwerken van roestvrijstalen buizen en componenten.
• Bedienen van productieapparatuur en zorgen voor conformiteit aan specificaties.
• Machine-instellingen aanpassen volgens werkinstructies.
• Materialen voorbereiden voor lassen of montage.
• Metalen onderdelen slijpen, polijpen en afronden wanneer nodig.
• Technische tekeningen en productie-instructies lezen.

Samenvatting

We are looking for a Metal Production / Machine Operator for a full-time position in Nijmegen, working in a 2-shift system. You will cut, bend, polish and finish high-quality stainless-steel pipes and technical components in a modern technical production environment. Hourly wage €17.00 – €21.00 gross (depending on experience), plus 16% shift allowance and 8% holiday allowance.

We are looking for a Metal Production / Machine Operator to work with high-quality stainless-steel pipes and technical components.

This is a hands-on technical position where you will operate production equipment and make sure components are produced according to technical specifications. Depending on your experience, you may work with cutting, bending, polishing or finishing processes.

What will you do?

• Cut, bend, polish and finish stainless-steel pipes and components
• Operate cutting, bending and other production machinery
• Set up machines according to work instructions
• Prepare materials for welding or assembly
• Grind, polish and deburr metal components when required
• Read technical drawings and production instructions
• Measure components using technical measuring tools
• Check finished products for dimensions and quality
• Report production or quality deviations
• Follow safety and quality procedures

Wat wij vragen

• Experience in metalworking, machining or technical production
• Experience as a machine operator is preferred
• Cutting, bending, polishing or finishing experience is an advantage
• Experience working with stainless steel is preferred
• Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage
• Experience using measuring tools
• Practical and technically minded
• English or Dutch at minimum B1 level
• Willing to work in a 2-shift system
