Kyndryl Inc. is seeking a Medior Network Administrator to keep client networks available, reliable and secure in a Hybrid role in the Netherlands.

You’ll work hands-on with Juniper routers and switches in a Cloud Server environment, serving a government/defense client during a full IT infrastructure renewal. The role focuses on operational network management, with opportunities to contribute to changes and projects while expanding technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network administration, including hands-on Juniper hardware.
• HBO-level education in ICT or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the LAN and associated network components.
• Configure and administer Juniper routers and switches.
• Monitor network capacity and identify bottlenecks.
• Analyze incidents and resolve with colleagues.

Je werkt hands-on met Juniper-routers en -switches in een Cloud Server-omgeving en bent het eerste aanspreekpunt bij netwerkstoringen.Je komt in dienst bij Kyndryl en werkt voor een opdrachtgever in de defensie- en veiligheidssector die zijn IT-infrastructuur volledig vernieuwt. Later kun je ook voor andere klanten van Kyndryl aan de slag.Dit is een medior rol waarin operationeel beheer centraal staat. Naast het dagelijkse netwerkbeheer ondersteun je wijzigingen en projecten waarmee de omgeving verder verbetert, met ruimte om je technische kennis te verdiepen.Succes in deze rol betekent dat het netwerk beschikbaar en veilig blijft, dat storingen snel en grondig worden opgelost en dat wijzigingen gecontroleerd verlopen.**Wat ga je doen****Beheer het netwerk*** Beheer en bewaak het LAN en de bijbehorende netwerkcomponenten* Configureer en beheer Juniper-routers en -switches**Bewaak en verbeter*** Bewaak de netwerkcapaciteit en signaleer technische knelpunten* Herken terugkerende problemen en draag verbeteringen voor de beheeromgeving aan**Los storingen op*** Analyseer netwerkincidenten en los ze samen met collega's op* Ondersteun gebruikers en technische teams bij het analyseren van netwerkproblemen**Voer wijzigingen gecontroleerd door*** Voer technische wijzigingen gecontroleerd uit* Ondersteun projecten en veranderingen met praktische netwerkkennisJe werkt hybride: minimaal twee dagen per week op locaties van de opdrachtgever in Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland en Utrecht, de andere dagen thuis. Het salaris is € 62.000 tot € 78.000 bruto per jaar, inclusief vakantiegeld en dertiende maand, afhankelijk van je ervaring.Daarnaast krijg je onder meer een telefoon en laptop van de zaak, een maandelijkse internetvergoeding en tot vijf weken extra partnerverlof met behoud van salaris. Onderweg haal je certificeringen en werk je in een beheerorganisatie die blijft groeien.**Who You Are**Je hebt ruim vijf jaar netwerkbeheer achter de rug, met Juniper, en houdt van hands-on werk. Je zoekt bij een storing de technische oorzaak en werkt graag samen aan de oplossing.**Vereiste vaardigheden en ervaring*** Meer dan 5 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie als beheerder.* Hbo-werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur met een afgeronde ICT-opleiding.* Vaktechnische datacenterkennis, bijvoorbeeld via een opleiding in datacenternetwerken.* Ervaring met Juniper en kennis van de basisprincipes van netwerkbeheer.* Kennis van ITIL v4 Foundation.* Vloeiend Nederlands, de Nederlandse nationaliteit en een Nederlands paspoort, en bereidheid tot een screening door de MIVD (VGB).
