Job summary

High Tech Campus is seeking a hands-on mechanical design engineer to take ownership of parts for our deposition platform. You design from initial drawings to tested hardware, focusing on vacuum and thermal-mechanical interfaces.

You will work in the mechanical team led by our Senior Mechanical Engineer, turning rapid hardware iterations into a manufacturable platform as we scale from PoC to fab-ready systems.

Qualifications

• Vacuum and thermal-mechanical experience is required.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment is preferred.
• Able to design parts from concept drawings to tested hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design parts for the deposition platform from initial drawings to tested hardware.
• Own the parts and assemblies you design and iterate independently.
• Collaborate with the mechanical team led by the Senior Mechanical Engineer to ensure manufacturability.

You will design the parts that make our deposition platform work, from first drawings to tested
hardware. Vacuum components, source assemblies, fixtures, and the thermal-mechanical details
that decide whether a system performs.

Your CAD package is your daily craft. You work in the mechanical team led by our Senior
Mechanical Engineer, and you take ownership of your own parts and assemblies.

This role exists because we are scaling from a working proof-of-concept to a fab-ready system. The
physics works. The next phase is turning rapid hardware iterations into a manufacturable platform.
