Job summary

Navaio IT Security seeks a Medior Information Security Officer to help clients mature their security posture and translate policy into practical controls. You will support certification processes, risk assessments, and advisory work in a dynamic, client-facing role.

You will collaborate with experienced colleagues in a hybrid setup, focusing on ISO 27001, BIO, and NIS2 compliance, while training teams to raise security awareness and resilience.

Qualifications

• 2—5 years of information security experience (ISO, consultant, or risk officer)
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and risk assessments
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Good command of Dutch and English
• Ambition to pursue ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or CISM (support provided)

Responsibilities

• Draft and implement information security policies and procedures
• Support ISO 27001 certification and internal audits
• Perform risk analyses and gap analyses under guidance
• Advise on laws and regulations such as BIO and NIS2
• Promote security awareness through training and workshops
• Collaborate with IT teams and management to drive improvements
