Job summary

e-llis Supply Chain Solutions, headquartered in Maastricht, is seeking a Medior Data Engineer to strengthen the Data Warehouse team. You will design, build, and optimize SQL-based data pipelines and data models to support analytics and reporting across the organization.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders while ensuring data quality, performance, and scalable solutions in an international environment. Fluent English is required.

About the role

We are looking for a Medior Data Engineer to strengthen our Data Warehouse team. In this role, you will play a key part in building, maintaining, and optimizing data models and pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making across our organization.

You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, translating data needs into reliable, scalable data solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust SQL-based data pipelines
• Develop and optimize data models for analytics and reporting use cases
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance in the data warehouse

Your profile

Required

• Solid experience with SQL
• Hands-on experience with data modeling (e.g. dimensional models, fact & dimension tables)
• Experience working as a Data Engineer at a medior level (able to work independently on standard use cases)
• Comfortable working in an international environment
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have (strong plus)

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with dbt
• Affinity with logistics or supply chain processes
• Experience in data warehousing or analytics platforms in a business-critical environment
