Ecotone is seeking a medior SAP BW/BW4HANA Consultant to help stabilise and modernise our BI landscape. You will design, develop and optimise BW/4HANA solutions across Europe, collaborating with business analysts and IT across countries.

You will own data models, QC, and analytics capabilities while contributing to upcoming SAP Datasphere projects. This role offers an international BI environment and a proactive, hands‑on approach.

Qualifications

• Higher professional or university‑level education in IT/Data/Info Management.
• 3–6 years of experience with SAP BW or SAP BW/4HANA.
• Hands-on experience with full BI lifecycle: design, build, test, support.
• Experience with BW Query design for Analysis for Office and/or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Understanding of layered data warehouse architectures and clear standards.
• Affinity with business processes and KPIs (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain or Operations).

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain SAP BW/BW4HANA solutions per Ecotone BI standards.
• Build and optimise aDSOs, InfoObjects, CompositeProviders, transformations, DTPs and process chains.
• Improve BW models for performance, maintainability and transparency.
• Develop BW Queries for Analysis for Office and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Monitor data quality, validation and traceability of data flows.
• Support transports, release management, UAT and BI support.
• Contribute to SAP Datasphere, BDC, hybrid analytics and AI-ready data models.

Are you a SAP BW / BW4HANA Consultant with several years of experience and ready for a role in which you can make both operational and strategic impact? At Ecotone, you will work on a stable, reliable and future-oriented data and analytics environment. You will help our organisation make data smarter, more consistent and more usable for the business, reporting and future analytics developments.

What will you do?

In this role, you will ensure that SAP BW / BW4HANA remains a reliable foundation for reporting, decision‑making and further BI modernisation. You will work within European ICT – Business Applications and collaborate with business analysts, key users and fellow BI consultants across different countries.

• Designing, developing and maintaining SAP BW / BW4HANA solutions in line with Ecotone BI standards and LSA/LSA++ architecture.
• Building and optimising aDSOs, InfoObjects, CompositeProviders, transformations, routines, DTPs and process chains, among others.
• Simplifying and improving existing BW models, with attention to performance, reuse, transparency and maintainability.
• Developing BW Queries for Analysis for Office and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Implementing and monitoring data quality, validation, reconciliation and traceability of data flows.
• Supporting transports, release management, UAT, regression testing and second‑line BI support.
• Contributing to the preparation for SAP Datasphere, Business Data Cloud, hybrid analytics and AI‑ready data models.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an analytical, structured and quality‑driven SAP BW / BW4HANA Consultant with a practical mindset. You work independently within agreed architectures and standards, communicate easily with IT and business stakeholders, and enjoy contributing to a modern BI environment.

• You have a higher professional or university‑level working and thinking level, preferably in IT, Data or Information Management.
• You have approximately 3 to 6 years of experience with SAP BW or SAP BW/4HANA.
• You have hands‑on experience with the full BI lifecycle: design, build, test and support.
• You have experience with BW Query design for Analysis for Office and/or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• You understand layered data warehouse architectures and enjoy working according to clear standards.
• You have an affinity with business processes and KPIs, for example within Finance, Sales, Supply Chain or Operations.
