Job summary

Applied Medical in Amersfoort, NL, is seeking a Complaint Investigator to support product quality, patient safety and regulatory compliance. You will investigate returned medical devices, determine root causes, document findings and collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Regulatory teams.

This role blends laboratory work with technical analysis and cross-functional collaboration to impact product quality and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or another relevant technical discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in a quality, engineering, regulatory, or similar technical role.
• Excellent documentation and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on investigations and testing of returned medical devices.
• Review complaint information, technical documentation, and test results to determine root causes.
• Document investigation activities, findings, conclusions, supporting evidence and recommendations in complaint files.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Development teams.
• Identify trends and support root-cause analysis and continuous product improvements.
• Manage laboratory inventory including chemicals and testing materials.
