Job summary

Vicoma Consultancy & Engineering zoekt een Mechanical Engineer in Rotterdam. Je ondersteunt mechanische engineering en inkoopactiviteiten binnen industriële projecten en stelt technische specificaties op voor diverse apparatuur.

Je werkt nauw samen met collega's van de Procesafdeling en onderhoudt contact met leveranciers. Je krijgt de ruimte om zelfstandig voorbereidende taken uit te voeren, met begeleiding van een Senior Mechanical Engineer bij complexere vraagstukken.

Qualifications

• De functie vereist vaardigheid in het opstellen van technische specificaties en samenwerking met inkoop en procesafdeling.
• Kennis van leverancierscontact en evaluatie van technische opties is gewenst.

Responsibilities

• Voorbereiden van technische specificaties voor apparatuur zoals pompen, vaten en mixers; afstemming met de procesafdeling; contact met leveranciers; ondersteuning bij evaluaties en testen.

What can you expect? Your role As a Mechanical Engineer , you support mechanical engineering and procurement activities within industrial projects. You prepare technical specifications for various types of equipment and work closely with colleagues from, among others, the Process department. You maintain frequent contact with suppliers and assist with technical evaluations, document control, and testing activities. In addition, you independently carry out preparatory tasks, while a Senior Mechanical Engineer supports you with more complex technical issues.
