Job responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design and develop mechanical systems and structures, primarily on site at our clients. You will be involved in the entire engineering process from concept to realization.
- Design, calculate and model machines, devices and industrial systems in 3D CAD.
- Produce detailed 2D drawings, bill of materials and technical documentation from the designs.
- Justify design choices and optimize existing solutions when necessary (e.g. using FEM analyses).
- Participate in product development from concept through prototype testing.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers and fellow engineers and act as the technical point of contact when required.
- Support the workshop to ensure the design works correctly in practice.
Qualifications
- Completed HBO or WO education in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical direction.
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience as an engineer.
- Knowledge of CAD software and FEM analyses such as SolidWorks, Inventor or comparable programs.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language in speaking and writing.
