Job summary

GTE is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Engineer to work on complete machines for the medical and pharmaceutical sectors. You will combine electrical and mechanical work, integrating control cabinets, field wiring, and mechanical assembly on diverse projects.

You will assemble and wire electrical panels, fit pneumatic components, and support testing, commissioning, and on-site installations for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• MBO-4 qualification in mechatronics and/or electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and machine control.
• Interest in mechanical assembly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized.
• Cooperative team player.

Responsibilities

• Integrate control cabinets into machines and carry out field cabling
• Assemble and wire electrical panels
• Assemble mechanical parts
• Fit pneumatic components according to schematics
• Assist with testing and commissioning of machines
• Support service engineers during installation at customer sites
