Do you have a lot of technical knowledge and are you looking for a varied job in the Rotterdam region? Then you are the mechanic we are looking for, for our Technical Service in Europoort. As a mechanic, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our containers among other things. We are looking for someone who is accurate, who knows how to tackle problems, and think in solutions.

Part of our Technical Department is located in Europoort. Here we treat, repair and check all our containers. You are also responsible for checking and inspecting our containers. Together with the team you keep yourself busy with various techniques, such as welding, sawing, drilling and grinding. The focus is on bodywork on containers. You also perform technical maintenance on the heating and cooling installations that are linked to our equipment. You will be working in two shifts. Every other week you work the morning shift and the afternoon/evening shift. You do this in a fixed schedule with a fixed team.

Your profile

• Completed training in welding technology, at least level 2 (MIG/MAG)
• Knowledge of various technical materials and their specific processing
• Willing to work in two shifts (6am - 3pm and 2pm - 11pm)
• Accurate and signaling, regarding maintenance and repairs
