Job summary

Heerema is seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist to structure and improve how master data is managed across the organization, including customers, employees and products.

The role focuses on building a sustainable MDM approach, guiding Data Stewards, and aligning stakeholders to drive data quality and consistent ways of working across the business. Leiden office commonly hosts a modern workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Master Data Management, data governance and data quality.
• Strong understanding of MDM concepts, governance frameworks and operating models.
• Experience in an ERP-driven, project-based environment, preferably with SAP.
• Ability to translate business needs into sustainable data standards, rules and processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MDM activities centrally across Heerema.
• Provide functional leadership to Data Stewards (currently 2, with potential growth).
• Ensure alignment and consistency across master data domains.
