Job summary

CuspAI in Amsterdam is seeking a Materials Knowledge Architect to join our Data team and design data representations, schemas and ingestion pipelines for heterogeneous external data.

You will work with world-class AI and materials science experts to ensure data quality at scale, build ML-ready datasets, and collaborate with partners across research and engineering to unlock next-generation materials.

Qualifications

• Design data models and schemas for complex scientific domains.
• Ingest, integrate and harmonise data from multiple external sources.
• PhD in a relevant field or equivalent research experience.
• Expert in data representation and interoperable data assets.

Responsibilities

• Design the data models that represent chemical, structural, and materials property data.
• Own data quality, validation, deduplication, lineage and provenance frameworks.
• Lead ingestion pipelines and harmonise data from varied sources.
• Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to meet modelling needs.
