Job summary

Erasmus MC in Rotterdam seeks Master’s students for a graduation internship in the Department of Medical Informatics and the DARWIN EU Coordination Centre. You will develop AI/ML methods using Dutch primary care data while receiving regular guidance from a dedicated supervisor.

The position lasts about six months, with a gross internship allowance of €500 based on a 36-hour workweek. Start date to be determined in consultation with the student.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master’s degree program with a strong quantitative background.
• Interested in healthcare, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Interested in conducting research using real world health data.
• Motivated, eager to learn and able to take initiative.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Internship for approximately 6 months conducting a graduation project within the department.
• Work on real-world healthcare challenges using AI/ML methods with real-world data.
• Regular meetings and guidance from a dedicated supervisor.
