Eligibility - Important
- You must be currently enrolled as a student for the entire duration of the internship.
- This is a practical internship (meeloopstage), not a graduation/thesis internship. If you want to do a voluntary internship, please flag this when you apply.
- Oojo does not apply for TWVs, GVVA or other work/residence permits for this internship.
- Dutch students may undertake the internship without additional work or residence permits.
EU/EEA/Swiss students
- You may undertake the internship without a TWV.
- The internship must have a clear educational purpose, with defined learning objectives, activities and supervision.
Non-EU/EEA/Swiss students
- You must be enrolled at a Dutch university or university of applied sciences (hogeschool).
- You must hold a valid Dutch student residence permit for the entire internship.
- The internship must be relevant to your study programme.
- A tripartite internship agreement between you, your educational institution and Oojo is required.
- No TWV is required when these conditions are met.
- Applications from students who require Oojo to obtain a work or residence permit will not be considered.

Your Role:
As our Marketing Intern, you’ll get real-world, hands-on experience in digital marketing while supporting campaigns and projects that drive growth.
- Learn how marketing campaigns are planned and coordinated across different channels, with a focus on email marketing.
- Assist with the campaign calendar, planning and rollout of marketing activities.
- Gain practical experience creating, launching and evaluating email campaigns.
- Work together with the design team to develop and improve marketing creatives.
- Monitor campaign results and learn how to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present weekly campaign results and learnings, together with ideas for the following week.
- Work with different teams, including airline marketing, pricing, product, analytics and partnerships, to understand how marketing activities support the business.
- Contribute to the company blog and learn how to create engaging, relevant content.
- Learn about AEO-optimised content and how it can improve search visibility.
- Explore and share your own marketing ideas and creative concepts as part of the learning experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently studying in Marketing, Business Adminstration, Communications, or a related field.
- 6-12 months of marketing related experience (internships, part-time work, or projects)
- Fluent in English, with strong communication and organizational skills
- Proactive, energetic, motivated and passionate about digital (email) marketing
- Detail-oriented and hands-on, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Interest or experience in the travel industry is a plus
- Interest or experience with AI tools is a plus
