Job summary

Be Informed is seeking a Marketing & Design Intern (Social media focus) to help elevate our branding and create engaging visuals for a global audience. You will join a small, dynamic team and contribute to real projects across marketing channels.

From day one, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment, designing for conferences, events, webinars, and campaigns, while learning branding storytelling and social strategy.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a design, marketing, or communication degree.
• Fluent in English (writing and speaking); Dutch not required.
• Proficient with Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
• Nice-to-have: After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Able to work independently and contribute creative ideas.

Responsibilities

• Create eye-catching graphics and visuals for social platforms (LinkedIn primary; also X, Facebook, Instagram).
• Develop visuals for events, webinars, campaigns, videos, and internal initiatives.
• Write short, engaging social copy and internal newsletters.
• Maintain content calendar and schedule posts.
• Learn to publish pages and blogs with WordPress.
• Get hands-on with HubSpot for social media management and email marketing.
• Ensure on-brand, professional, and visually cohesive content.

We’re on the lookout for a Marketing & Design Intern who’s ready to make our branding shine and social media scroll-stopping. Therefore, you’ll be part of a small but fun team where your ideas matter, and your designs will be seen by a global audience.

From the start, you’ll be part of a fast-paced environment where you can get involved right away.

You won’t just be “helping out”. You’ll get the chance to contribute to creative projects across our marketing channels. Think of designing visuals for company conferences, team bonding events, webinars, and marketing campaigns, as well as supporting both external branding and internal initiatives.

Your responsibilities

• Create eye-catching graphics and visuals for our social media platforms. Our main focus is LinkedIn, but we are active on X, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Help create visuals for projects such as events, webinars, campaigns, videos and internal initiatives.
• Assist in writing short, engaging social copy and internal newsletter.
• Keep our content calendar on track and help schedule posts
• Learn how to publish pages and blogs with WordPress
• Get hands-on with HubSpot for social media management and email marketing
• Make sure everything we share is on-brand, professional, and visually consistent.

What you'll learn:

• How to work for real-world B2B marketing
• The ins and outs of branding and storytelling
• Social media marketing strategy, content planning, and SEO analytics
• You’re studying Design, Marketing, Communication, or something similar
• You’re fluent in English (writing and speaking), Dutch is not required
• You know your way around Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• You’re creative, detail-oriented, and love working independently
• You’re full of ideas and not afraid to share them
• Bonus points if you’ve worked with After Effects, Premiere Pro
