Job summary

Emergent, a Delft-based defense technology company, seeks an Online Marketing & Communications Intern to shape how we present our autonomous systems to the world. You will own content creation and public visibility, not only following a calendar but driving ideas and experiments.

You will drive our LinkedIn presence, develop marketing materials, join field tests and demonstrations, shape PR and go-to-market strategy, and help build Emergent's employer brand across Europe.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BSc or MSc in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field.
• Strong affinity with technology and curiosity about robotics, drones, autonomous systems, or engineering.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
• A creative, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
• An interest in digital marketing, content creation, and building an audience.
• EU and/or NATO citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Drive our LinkedIn presence — create engaging posts about our technology, field tests, achievements, and team.
• Develop marketing materials — create presentations, brochures, videos, and other content that communicate our capabilities to potential customers and partners.
• Join field tests and demonstrations — capture photos, videos, and stories of our technology in action.
• Shape public relations and go-to-market strategy — identify opportunities for media exposure, campaigns, and industry outreach.
• Build our employer brand — position Emergent as an exciting workplace for ambitious talent in the European defense and technology sector.
• Generate visibility and inbound leads — experiment with marketing channels and initiatives that expand our reach and attract potential customers.
