Job summary

Thermo Fisher in Groningen is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Science & Technology to lead a team of Process Engineers in delivering robust, right-first-time manufacturing strategies.

You will drive technology transfer, process development, validation, and continuous improvement while ensuring cGMP compliance and cross-functional collaboration with global clients. Excellent leadership and problem-solving are essential to support safe, compliant, and scalable bioprocess operations.

Qualifications

• Lead with 8+ years in technology transfer, process development or large-scale manufacturing in mammalian cell culture or biologics downstream bioprocessing.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and regulatory requirements (FDA/EMA).
