Job requirements

You have a strong affinity with responsible AI and are up to date on the newest (AI)technologies, emerging AI regulatory requirements and AI Ethics. You have the skills to support clients in navigating the dynamic AI landscape, by enabling them to successfully implement their AI strategy in a responsible way. This means adopting a solid AI governance structure and having a strong change capacity. You can combine being practical with your expertise to empower clients being successful in adopting responsible AI practices while ensuring compliance. While you may not be an expert in implementing AI practices just yet, your solid background in project management within the financial services sector positions you perfectly to embrace this challenge. You can work independently, engage effectively with stakeholders, and manage projects from inception to completion. When facing challenges, you can identify issues and seek assistance to ensure project success and client satisfaction. What is crucial is your readiness to learn and lead in this evolving field. What will you do

You will help our clients harness the value of AI to drive better business outcomes by guiding them in adopting AI technologies responsibly. You will orchestrate the required changes in our clients’ organisation that will bolster a successful implementation of the AI strategy and support the organisation with your expertise. As a (senior) manager, you are guiding junior professionals in mastering the art of responsible AI navigation. Together, you will work towards a future where technology powers finance in a way that is fair, transparent and secure.

In this multifaceted role, you will undertake tasks that blend strategic leadership with hands‑on project management, while fostering client relationships. Your main activities will include:

• Strategic leadership & vision: Guide financial institutions in crafting and applying responsible AI (governance) strategies. Your ability to envision how AI can be responsibly utilized within the financial sector—balancing innovation with ethical considerations and compliance—is key. While direct experience in AI governance is a plus, what is crucial is your strategic mindset and project management skills.
• Client engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, illuminating the path to responsible AI adoption. Your skills in understanding client needs and articulating the value of responsible AI will help in engaging both prospective and existing clients.
• Project management: Lead projects that embed AI into operations responsibly. This includes everything from policy advisory to ensuring regulatory compliance. Your project management experience, also outside of AI‑specific contexts, will be invaluable as you steer these initiatives to success.
• Innovation and thought leadership: Stay at the forefront of AI technology trends and ethical practices. A commitment to continuous learning will enable you to assess new developments and advise clients effectively, ensuring our firm remains a thought leader in responsible AI.

Experience you will bring

• At least 5 years of experience in consultancy within the financial sector;
• Demonstrated affinity with AI, responsible AI practices, or related fields, underpinned by an understanding of AI technologies and their implications;
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Technology, or Data Science;
• A track record of leading transformation projects from conception through to implementation that reflect commitment to authenticity, impact, and quality;
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards related to AI ethics, privacy, and data protection;
• Proven ability in leading teams and mentoring juniors;
• Excellent communication and presenting skills in English;
• You have an existing network in the domain, you are able to nurture client relationships, bring our propositions to the client, and recognise new commercial opportunities to help ACE grow.
