Job Description

As Manager Actuarial Sciences, you will report to the Associate Partner and be responsible for the following tasks:

Responsibilities

• Carry out and lead consulting missions or projects with customers, ensuring the service and quality level Sia delivers.
• Follow up and steer the consulting work of other consultants.
• Participate in developing our market share in Actuarial Sciences in the Netherlands and adapt offers to market needs.
• Support business development in Belgium when necessary.
• From the Sia office in Rotterdam or Amsterdam, proactively engage in prospecting, proposal writing, defense and customer relationship management.
• Develop in‑depth knowledge of the Netherlands and general market.
• Analyze business model evolution, sector trends and innovations to anticipate challenges and opportunities for clients.
• Create thought‑leadership materials such as case studies, expertise letters and press articles to support marketing and prospecting.
• Coach consultants and steer consulting teams on missions in the Actuarial Sciences business line in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a first‑class university (business, engineering, economics etc.).
• Fundamental insight into the actuarial sciences market.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant consulting experience.

• Ability to monitor company or market trends, identify new challenges and initiate actions within Sia to adapt the offering or launch prospecting.
• Successful project leadership and team management experience.
• Personal domains of expertise and readiness to personally deliver consulting services.
• Languages: Bilingual Dutch and English (Dutch required, French a plus).
