Wulro is op zoek naar een ervaren Maintenance Technician die technischer inzicht combineert met leiderschap en teamleiderschap in een productieomgeving.

Je voert preventief en correctief onderhoud uit aan machines en productielijnen, leidt een team en draagt bij aan continue verbeteringen, met focus op veilig werken en procesoptimalisatie.

Qualifications

• MBO niveau 4 elektro/mechatronica (of gelijkwaardig).
• Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als onderhouds- of storingsmonteur, bij voorkeur in de voedselindustrie.
• Sterke elektrische kennis en het oplossen van elektrische storingen.
• Ervaring met trainen en ondersteunen van collega's.
• Hands-on mindset en proactieve houding.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands; Engels is een plus.

Responsibilities

• Preventief en correctief onderhoud aan machines en productielijnen
• Storingen diagnosticeren en oplossen om stilstand te minimaliseren
• Bijdragen aan technische verbeterprojecten en procesoptimalisatie
• Teamleden trainen en ondersteunen, met focus op elektrisch/ PLC
• Registraties bijhouden in onderhouds- en storingssystemen (bijv. Ultimo)
• Zorgen voor naleving van kwaliteitsprocedures en onboarding van nieuw personeel

Over de functie

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician who is eager to share knowledge, take initiative, and lead a team in a dynamic production environment. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and continuous improvement of machinery, installations, and production lines. You will not only resolve technical issues but also act as a mentor and role model for your colleagues. Working closely with the Head of Technical Services, you will contribute to the ongoing development and professionalization of the maintenance department.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and production lines
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations
• Contribute to technical improvement projects and optimization of production processes
• Train and support team members, especially in electrical and PLC-related knowledge
• Maintain accurate records in maintenance and fault management systems (e.g., Ultimo)
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and support onboarding of new colleagues

Wat wij vragen

• Completed technical education (MBO level 4) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a similar field
• At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance or troubleshooting technician, preferably in the food industry
• Strong electrical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults effectively
• Proven experience in training and supporting colleagues
• Hands‑on mindset with a proactive attitude toward challenges and improvement projects
• Good command of Dutch (spoken and written); additional languages such as English are an advantage
