Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Maintenance Engineer Mechanical to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our industrial gas and hydrogen facilities in the Rotterdam area. You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Project teams to resolve issues, develop maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes mechanical integrity, preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and keeping SAP records up to date.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in maintenance, reliability, or asset integrity within an industrial environment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance best practices and process safety.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical integrity inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate effective repairs.
• Improve asset reliability through root cause analysis and reliability engineering techniques.
• Support maintenance shutdowns, plant modifications, and capital projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for the integrity, reliability, and performance of a wide range of mechanical assets across our industrial gas and hydrogen production facilities. You will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Project teams to resolve technical issues, develop maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll do
