Job summary

APF Generic Infrastructural Services is seeking a DevOps Engineer for Software Control & Deployment in a modern mainframe environment. You will enable DevOps teams to deploy software to production reliably, securely and faster by improving deployment processes and tooling.

You bring mainframe expertise, preferably from system management, and you’ll work with Git, Ansible, Python and Java to automate tasks and pipelines. A hybrid work model and a development budget support growth.

Qualifications

• Higher professional education level (HBO) or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps engineer, software engineer, technical administrator or functional application administrator.
• Mainframe background is preferred, with knowledge of z/OS and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and implement improvements to tooling and deployment pipelines.
• Support DevOps teams with complex technical integration challenges.
• Create modern CI/CD solutions for z/OS applications.
• Ensure quality, continuity and compliance in a highly available, business-critical environment.
• Collaborate with payment solutions DevOps teams and agile practices.
