ABB in Ede, Netherlands, operates a three-shift injection molding department handling a wide range of products. Ready to work in a high-tech production environment in Ede? Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the entire machine park within the injection molding department at ABB. Your main task is to monitor and manufacture products using injection molding machines, robots, and other peripheral equipment. No two days are the same in this dynamic organization. Tasks range from setting up machines and changing molds to adjusting robots and performing quality checks. You will also receive a shift allowance of 24%.
The factory in Ede is a production site for low-voltage components—products that make buildings smarter. Within the injection molding department, three shifts operate 24/5 to produce our full range of 600 products. You will work with many different materials and collaborate closely with fellow operators and the team leader. Together with your team, you are responsible for ensuring safety on the work floor. Following the 5S Lean program, you continuously work on workplace optimization with your colleagues.
You are positive, solution-oriented, and enjoy working on technical and mechanical challenges. You will have the freedom to work independently within the team, but you also know when to ask for support.
