Job summary

Avantor in Nijmegen is seeking a highly organized Logistics Technician to support inventory management and material handling at the client site in Nijmegen, ensuring uninterrupted supply for Production and QC operations.

You will own replenishment, ordering, warehouse coordination, stock control, and movement of materials, working with internal teams, suppliers, and service providers to maintain accurate records and high service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and operational workflows.
• Proficiency with data capture, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong customer service focus and cross-functional collaboration.
• Exposure to lab, production, or QC environments is beneficial.
• Ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage Production and QC inventory replenishment activities.
• Process material requests and orders.
• Coordinate warehouse requests, stock retrieval, and distribution.
• Restock laboratory and production consumables.
• Manage disposable inventory levels and gowning replenishment.
• Maintain documentation for incoming goods and deliveries.
• Coordinate movement of materials between site locations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through stock management.
• Support cleaning activities.
• Coordinate vendor visits and provide escort support.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide cross-functional support to Production, QC, Facilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
